Keemun Keemun black tea has enjoyed a tremendous heritage since its inception in 1875. A gentleman by the name of Yu Quiachen from Keemun County (located in the Anhui province of China) brought notoriety to the province as no other place had produced black tea prior to this time. Keemun quickly became celebrated throughout China and the world. Today, we continue to recognize this jewel for its unwavering overtones of sweet fruits and undertones of smoky complexity. Keemun is undeniably one of the more famous Chinese black teas. 1 teaspoon for every 6-8 oz. of water. Heat fresh, filtered, or bottled water to a rolling boil or to 210°F. Steep for 3-4 minutes. Can be steeped up to 3 times. see our small and large tins |
