One of the most popular teas in Japan, our Sencha comes from the renowned Shizuwaka region. Sencha, which means “common” in Japanese, is anything but ordinary. Its brilliant display of dark, gem-like green leaves yields richly textured flavors of grassy herbs, butter, and hints of toasted nori (dried seaweed). Our Sencha is great paired with sushi or any Japanese food.1 teaspoon for every 6-8 oz. of water.Heat fresh, filtered, or bottled water until slow steam rises or small bubbles appear (165-175°F).
