Hojicha Our mild Hojicha is made by a process of roasting regular Sencha and Bancha leaves, developing a soothing, complex blend. This tea produces an amber colored liquor that is fairly toasty in taste. The earthy element, combined with a healthy dose of malt flavor rounds out this tea and would be a great accompaniment to a dish of cold Japanese noodles. 1 teaspoon for every 6-8 oz. of water. Heat fresh, filtered, or bottled water until slow steam rises or small bubbles appear (165-175°F). Steep for 1-2 minutes. Great iced as well. see our small and large tins |
