Our rare and exquisite Silver Needle is produced in China’s Northern Fujian province and is one of our purest, highly sought after white teas. The process by which the leaves of this fragrant, full-bodied tea are picked makes it noticeably different. Its uniqueness is attributed to the tender, graceful buds that are covered with white down and have been gathered immediately after they fully develop, but before they have time to open. This understated tea creates a pale yellow liquor with a fresh, sweet fragrance. 3 teaspoons for every 6-8 oz. of water.Heat fresh, filtered, or bottled water until slow steam rises or small bubbles appear (165-175°F). Steep for 4 minutes. Can be steeped up to 3 times.
