Schizandra White

While the Schizandra berry is little known in Western culture, its health benefits have long been enjoyed in China for centuries. This small, bright-red berry is a powerful antioxidant and its normalizing properties serve to restore balance to the mind and body. The Schizandra berry is believed to help reduce stress, bolster the immune system, increase mental capacity and physical energy, and has been used by the Chinese to treat coronary heart disease, liver ailments, and insomnia. We partner this tart, slightly peppery berry with the goodness of white tea to provide you a soothing, fruity cup that is not only tasty but good for you.

2 teaspoons for every 6-8 oz. of water.

Heat fresh, filtered, or bottled water until slow steam rises or small bubbles appear (165-175°F). Steep for 4 minutes.
