Tea Storage
Tea, like most produce is perishable. In order to insure freshness and maximum flavor, attention must be paid to proper storage. Most teas, with the exception of black teas, will keep for one year after production if stored properly. A few select black teas however, can actually improve with age. To properly store tea, it should be kept in an air and light-tight container and placed in a cool and dry location. The material of the container should not give off any odors as tea is extremely absorbent. All teality teas are packaged in metal tins or high quality resealable foil bags, and are ideal for storage of your premium loose leaf tea.
